Some Christmas leftovers before the new year: It's a Wonderful Knife. It was the slasher version of a Hallmark Channel Christmas movie, and while that includes the problems those movies have, I otherwise had a good time watching it and can see it entering my rotation of holiday horror movies.

I have never watched either “It’s a Wondeful Life” or “Scream”, so this movie is probably making some references I’m missing. #TheLastDriveIn #MutantFam #ItsAWonderfulKnife
Heh. "It's a Wonderful Drive-In" skit coming up.

It's funny that she's the only one in town who could stop this mediocre serial killer from taking out the whole neighborhood.

I have a soft spot for good slashers and horror flicks - especially the ones with a fresh twist (Totally Killer, Freaky, Happy Death Day, etc.). So of course I jumped right in when I saw that It's a Wonderful Knife (2023) had come out - and it was exactly what I had hoped for (and perhaps even more).
The film has its rough edges, but they kind of just add to the overall charm of the film. Definitely recommended if you like the "slasher with a twist" genre.
