Finally had a chance yesterday to check out #DisneyWonderfulWorldOfSweets #WonderfulWorldOfSweets in #DowntownDisneyAnaheim . #Disneyland

Yeah, there's a lot of sugar there. But I didn't like how the display cases for the fresh made goodies were placed as they were hard to see. How do I know if I want to buy any of it if I can't look at it first?

I loved the #ItsASmallWorld facade reference up high, though I wondered why the clock face was upside down. Some of the other signs were cute too.

On my last day in Romania, a nice visit to the Băneasa fire station, holding an open house as part of the Bucharest Science Festival 🇷🇴

And somewhat randomly but pleasingly, when I told the head of the station that I had worked for ESA, he said he’d accompanied his wife to Leiden 7 years ago, when she took part in one of ESA Education’s teacher-training courses 🙀

It’s even possible I gave a talk at that course 🤷‍♂️

"There is just one moon and one golden sun"

I've always loved this sun on the wall in "It's a Small World". The effect of the second layer of angled rays rotating underneath is what really sets it apart from other smiling suns.
