My #videogame project is still on track. I made great progress!

Here is the development plan for the upcoming v0.4.0

I wanted to release this version for May 2026 but there were too much issues to fix.

I've updated the board with more labels and categories to help me sort this out.

I spent some time tonight updating the rulebook of A Year in Farm Valley with original art done by a nibling. I'm glad to have gotten this together in time for the game's first anniversary. Also a good opportunity to fix some typos and add a couple clarifying sentences. Version 1.1 will go up on itch.io next month.

Fixed my lovejs player to resize the initial canvas based on a user provided lovejs.json in the top level of a .love file.

I also greatly simplified the build code base so I should be able to back port my more modern lovejs bundles.

Another itch.io anecdote!

For the last couple of days, 80% of people buying my little hobby games on itch added a tip on top of the asking price. And not just a $1 tip - one person tipped $15!

As usual, my feelings about it are less about the money and more about the vote of confidence. It’s heartening.

DTRPG is the big player in this space but I don’t get warm fuzzies from sales there. Itch feels more like a supportive community than just a storefront.
