Are there other marketplaces like itch.io that operate as a merchant of record that you have good experience using for your projects?

I have a feeling that I know why the itch support is not tied into the itch website at all. There is also no link to the ticket or any possibility to see if it is being worked on.
I assume their clearing rate and response time is let's call it suboptimal.
Is it bad that this is the number one marketplace for selling indie games and apps? Right after the big players like Steam of course.

Has anyone ever gotten any response from the itch support?
It has been 11 days since publishing and still not indexed (cannot be found through itch search) and also no answer whatsoever from the itch support (except the initial "we created a ticket response").
Interacting with itch feels like talking to a wall.
And the only time a wall ever answered me was in Planescape Torment 😂

@internetarchive I wish I had gotten in on Flash when it was big. I loved consuming tons of stuff made with it. It was such a neat era of the Internet.
I feel like #itchio and readily available engines like #Godot are carrying on the torch now.
