Another itch.io anecdote!

For the last couple of days, 80% of people buying my little hobby games on itch added a tip on top of the asking price. And not just a $1 tip - one person tipped $15!

As usual, my feelings about it are less about the money and more about the vote of confidence. It’s heartening.

DTRPG is the big player in this space but I don’t get warm fuzzies from sales there. Itch feels more like a supportive community than just a storefront.

paying the base $10, and I know I could have paid more and in fact I wanted to pay €10, but I don't know how much the conversion rate is, so in the end the 10 dollars came out as something like 9 euros and 6 cents which is a horrible quantity.
