The 1924 Immigration Act was specifically designed to KEEP OUT Italians, Jews, Eastern and Central Europeans based on the more restrictive 1890 census. Versus the 1921 Emergency Quota Act which used the 1910 census.
The 1921 Act placed no quotas on immigration from Mexico and Canada, because the Great Replacement fear then was not from the Americas (Northern, Central, and South America) but non-Aryan Southern and Eastern Europeans like Mr Rulli's "dangerous, dirty, anti-assimilationist Sacco-Venzetti anarcist, criminal, non-English speaking Papists" family. The KKK attacked Italians as dirty foreigners.
The 1921 Act was updated in 1924 to restrict border crossing from Mexico and Canada because Italians, Jews, Poles, and Russians were illegally crossing those borders to evade the quotas.
We need to learn our own history.
