Thanks for the reminder to rewatch #ItaewonClass, the first #kdrama that I watched solo. I was super excited to keep seeing my guesthouse as one of the show locations. It's such an interesting #Seoul neighbourhood.

My #kdrama earworm of the day is Sweet Night from #ItaewonClass which I haven't actually seen yet.. been listening to V's solo stuff in the office while doing funding applications and I love his voice and especially the whistling on this track. So many great #kdrama shows in a wide variety of genres on Netflix and even more that are available on Viki.
#CrashLandingOnYou is one that draws many people in.
I started with #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay, which adds fairy tales and psychiatry to the mix. #ItaewonClass was next, with a great revenge story. I have found very few duds, to be honest!

@whoosh I really liked PSJ in #ItaewonClass and I love #KimJiWon in everything!! Will move this one up the list!

I watched the first episode of #TheMidnightStudio
It has a similar plot theme of #MayIHelpYou which is the best Amazon Prime #kdrama production so far imho. And it stars the lovely #KwonNara who was the only character I truly loved in #ItaewonClass

Anyway it certainly looks promising!
I read it's an original Genie TV production.

Oh, I really liked #ParkSeoJoon in #ItaewonClass, the first #kdrama that I watched on my own. Not sure how I'd feel about him in something else.

Due to their proximity and the similarity of the 2 languages, I don't quite count Japanese actors as "foreigners" when it comes to #kdrama. And Chris Lyon as Kim To-Ni in #ItaewonClass was decent. A big factor seems to be the ability to take direction in Korean, which most of the foreign actors don't have.

Ah, and I first saw him as the villain in #ItaewonClass and I couldn't warm to him in 19th life. He seems to be cast as a chaebol most of the time. I have plenty of #kdrama male leads that I could watch at a moment's notice, though!

I'm upset. I'm not watching ep16 because I can't stand the whole thing. So unrealistic.

I despise Yi-Seo character so much that I don't want to see the end.
She's obnoxious, clingy, disrespectful, selfish and she even kissed Sae-ro-yi when he was unconscious. A male character doing that would be considered a rapist. Please someone explain to me why she has friends.

Sae-ro-yi character lost my admiration in last episodes too.

For me, this show was a bit of a dud. It captured my interest enough to binge it and there was some lovely cinematography. It didn't help that the ML was the villain in #ItaewonClass and he didn't play his "good guy" persona differently enough for me to root for him much. He did his sad parts very well.

Oh, definitely! I LOVED him in #ItaewonClass but a mannequin would have had better chemistry with his female leads. Cute smile but no evident chemistry. And there are clearly many Korean actors who excel in that area!

Hmm, taking a break from watching after binging on #ItaewonClass but that sounds like a good one to investigate. The emotional catharsis is good.

Currently attempting to learn #hangul. Failing to remember almost everything!
