Как сэкономить при сдаче ISTQB экзамена (реальный опыт + цифры)

За последние годы я получил 9 сертификатов ISTQB . И если бы в начале пути я знал, сколько денег можно сэкономить , я бы точно принимал другие решения. Почти все экзамены я сдавал через GASQ из Беларуси — выходило 140–150 евро за экзамен , что уже было дешевле, чем стандартные европейские цены. Но, как оказалось позже, это далеко не минимум . И вот что интересно: если бы я заранее знал, какие способы экономии реально существуют , я бы точно пересмотрел стратегию сдачи экзаменов и сэкономил бы несколько сотен евро. Как я сдавал на сертификат ISTQB Foundation Level ver 4.0 удаленно (remote)

Прошло две недели с тех пор, как я получил сертификат ISTQB® Certified Tester Foundation Level (версия 4.0), и сегодня хочу поделиться своим опытом сдачи экзамена в удаленном формате. О том, как я готовился, можно почитать в этой статье . Сразу отмечу: процедура скорее всего может немного отличаться в зависимости от экзаменационного провайдера, но я расскажу, как все проходило у меня 🙂 Я сдавал экзамен через GASQ на английском языке. Так как я нахожусь в Германии, а оплату за экзамен покрывал местный Jobcenter (что-то вроде биржи труда в России), мне пришлось предварительно запросить счет. Для этого я просто написал письмо на контактный e-mail, указанный на сайте. В ответ мне прислали счет и дополнительную форму, в которой я отметил, что английский — не мой родной язык, и прошу дополнительные 15 минут на сдачу. В итоге у меня было 75 минут на 40 вопросов. Дополнительно, перед экзаменом, я уточнил у провайдера, можно ли использовать словарь и whiteboard (маленькую маркерную доску, удобную для решения задач). Словарь использовать не разрешили, а вот доску — пожалуйста. Поэтому я заранее купил небольшую доску размером 60*40 см и повесил на стену рядом с собой.

Привет! Хочу поделиться моим опытом сдачи первой ступени экзамена ISTQB онлайн на русском языке. Ниже более подробно рассказу о своей подготовке, сдаче и поделюсь лайфхаками! Чуть-чуть обо мне Начну с того, что в тестировании я год, но писать на python начала с октября прошло года, в нынешней компании работаю с февраля и занимаю должность автотестировщика. Тестирование с первого дня меня заинтересовало, поэтому я стараюсь, как можно быстрее и качественнее учиться и сразу внедрять новые знания в работу. Кто такой этот ISTQB и зачем его сдавать ISTQB - некоммерческая организация, занимающаяся определением различных принципов развития сферы тестирования ПО, таких как структура и правила аккредитации, сертификации и т.п. (с сайта RSTQB) Если кратко, то это организация, которая позволяет получить международный сертификат. Зачем сдавать? Судя по вакансиям, в России данная сертификация не очень популярна, но для своего собственного развития и возможности в будущем претендовать на трудоустройство на международном рынке, оно того стоит. Я же решила сдавать данный экзамен, чтобы, во-первых, выучить теорию и подтвердить свои знания, а во-вторых, дополнить мое резюме и возможно выглядеть более привлекательно для работодателей.

Passed my #istqb exam this morning. The first exam I had in a long time. 😰

Now my mind is not occupied anymore and I can fully enjoy #robocon next week in #helsinki 🥳🇫🇮

After years of working on quality assurance I finally prepare for an #istqb certification. My eye opener is that QA is not testing 🤯 it's establishing processes that ensure quality. Testing can be a part of that.

This makes me reassess my former roles.

This is a classic Catch-22 example. Every position nowadays requires years of experience and you can't get experience without a job. So far after a year of applying to a hundred positions, she had only one interview >.<

Back when I was not manager, my solution to #ISTQB (which is BAD) was that I taught my colleagues. I allowed them to take certs if they felt the letters would help them in life.

Now I don't have time to teach all of my colleagues as much on #testing as I'd like. So I set the ball rolling. People get to take #BBST.

I have taken four different modules and failed on two. They were *that hard*. But even when failing, I learned so much that I will take them still and they will improve me.

My employer want me to certify for #istqb Test Automation Engineer.

The teacher self told us that we should do the exam with the syllabus in mind and do not think about how it is actually done in practice on the workfloor.

That is for me a reason NOT to certify. It does not match reality.
