Gotta say, it's very sudden and a shock for a public figure of such high standing. I think he's set a new high bar for state leaders in Australia, and he should be proud of his legacy.
Dan Andrews' resignation speech reminded me of when Jacinda Ardern resigned from her position as PM of Aotearoa New Zealand and said: "I no longer have enough in the tank". At the very least, he's out-lasted Rupert Murdoch.
