A terminally ill Romanian monk from a monastery in the Transylvanian Carpathian Mountains, left behind an archive documenting Israeli crimes against the children of Gaza.
The Christian monk, whose identity was withheld at his request, catalogued daily violence, compiling thousands of instances of abuse, and sending the data to the Israel Exposed Archive.
The monk sought to dedicate his remaining time to opposing what he viewed as the gravest crimes against children in the modern era.
The activists behind the archive say that in honour of his contributions they released images of the remote Caraiman Monastery where the monk lived and worked.
