According to Thomas Keightley’s ‘The Fairy Mythology,’ the Brown Dwarfs from the German Isle of Rügen are particularly offended by lazy servants and maids. One of the ways these dwarfs punish those they deem to be inadequate workers is to give them terrible nightmares. #WyrdWednesday
