Yesterday was anniversary of the coup to overthrow the elected #Mussadiq government to bring #Shah of #Iran back to power. The coup was led by the governments of the #US and the #UK.

Russia has formally aligned itself with the Taliban through a newly announced military agreement.

The Taliban have never abandoned their long-term goal of conquering the entire world. Al Qaeda is basically the Taliban's "foreign legion".
