We brought visiting family to the #FosterFoodCarts yesterday, which turned out to be a mistake since almost all the carts are closed on Tuesday, so I went across the street to #IshtarGate. It kinda looked like a sketchy hole in the wall between some dumpsters and a tire shop, with just a computer on the sidewalk to order from instead of a person. It took them quite some time to make the food, but it ended up being the best falafel I've had in #Portland.

Funny, but probably fact-based, too; just think of the famous #IshtarGate of #Babylon...in #Berlin.Aber vllt. ist ja die gemütlich verdrängte #DeutscheKolonialgeschichte im #EinwanderungslandDeutschland mal eine Entschlackung und perspektivische #Globalisierung wert?!?
Vielleicht wäre dies schon ein probates Mittel gegen die zunehmende #MAGAisierung #🇩🇪...? 💭

Apparently today is the last day where the #PergamonMuseum here in #Berlin will be open, before getting renovated. That is, the public won't be able to see the #IshtarGate until – hold firm – 2037!!!
Merely thinking about that number makes me feel old…
