Der #Anime zu "Isekai Office Worker" hat meine Erwartungen ziemlich gut getroffen. Den Manga dazu kannte ich schon bzw. lese ich und die Umsetzung jetzt wird der Vorlage gut gerecht.
Der 30jähriger Buchhalter Seiichiro Kondo wird versehentlich zusammen mit einer Jugendlichen in eine Fantasy-Welt beschworen. Sie soll als heilige Maid das Reich retten. Er, dessen Arbeit die einzige Leidenschaft ist, will nun im Schatzamt seiner bisherigen Arbeit nachgehen - und wirbelt dabei einiges im Amt und dann im Reich auf. Der junge Kommandant des Ritterordens hat ein Auge auf Kondo geworfen und wird dessen Beschützer. Denn Kondo verträgt die Magie in dieser Welt nicht und muss zu seinem Schutz desensibilisiert werden - durch Körperkontakt bis zum "Äußersten". (und vor Überarbeitung muss er auch geschützt werden)
Die Beziehungsebene der Geschichte hat so ihre Probleme, schon im Manga fand ich das teils unangenehm, da ewig nicht über Gefühle gesprochen wird und es manchmal übergriffig zugeht - wobei das bei den Umständen noch einigermaßen nachvollziehbar und mit guter Absicht geschieht. Im Anime ist das ein bisschen abgeschwächt. Stärker ist die übrige Geschichte um die Umwälzungen, die Kondo in die Welt bringt. Und das gute Worldbuilding fällt sehr positiv auf - endlich mal ein #Isekai, der nicht einfach wie ein Computerrollenspiel funktioniert.

I was right not to expect much from the production quality for #IsekaiOfficeWorker, but it is noticeably bad. Also, I'm not quite sure what they're adapting: novel or manga. Because the manga looks much better, and it's already an adaptation. Pity, 'cause it could've turned into quite an entertaining watch with an interesting turn of bringing your rational and work ethics into completely new environment. But even I could notice how low the budget for the whole thing is and how the director makes rather questionable stylistic choices to tell the story #anime
