All my hardcopy stuff from ISC2 arrived in the mail today.
I don't know if I am a fan of the new branded style of the certificate with the green trim though. I would have much preferred the one with the gold guilding text and logo with the old-english style text.
I’ve added the CISSP pin to my Australian Information Security Association (AISA) Lanyard, but would love to see pins as well for both AISA and Australian Computing Society (ACS).

@mormaid Ah, got it. Yeah, #ISC2 does qualify the type of courses/seminars/webinars you can attend to qualify for #CPEs towards maintaining the cert. They have a detailed list of what "topics" count, and in what manner. I get it - it's an elite cert that touts a specific skill set in #security. How many CPEs something is worth depends on the length #AFAIK. Sounds like ISC2 does it a bit different, and maybe more restrictively than #ISACA. Thanks for the interesting convo! 😁 👊

This morning, I went to a testing center and got a piece of paper that says this:
"Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you have provisionally passed the Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP®) examination."I am teaching a 2-week bootcamp course this December on the (ISC)2 SSCP exam, so it seemed like a smart move to actually take the exam :flan_hurrah:
Hopefully in a few months I'll have something much better than my own SSCP credential: students who also have their SSCP credential.
