Although the reference could be construed as a #Slight for his #Shortness (he was only 5'2"), it became an #Ironic #Endearment of his #LargerThanLife, #TakeCharge #Personality.
A #Fighter for #Justice & #Fairness, LaGuardia was a #Champion of the #WorkingClass & Immigrants. He died at 64.
