It doesn't help when your main character is less interresting than Hengewomen #2 (one of the Bloods, pick one they are both great).
At least dead best friend's (who's personality is annoying pared with zero self awareness) brother manages to have less charisma than RiRi (Dominique Thorne). I don't wonna say she's a miscast as I honestly don't know how you can give life to the character as written.
The character is basically a tech bro of the self-righteous sort.The cast, at large, did very well. However the smaller the part the better the performances.
The scripts were horrible and the "twist" anyone could see from 10 miles away.
Also it always sits badly with me when the entire conflict in a show is fully avoidable if people would communicate like grownups with each other. I call that lazy writing.
Disclaimer: I haven't touched any marvel print publication since 1991 and Chi has never read Ironheart so we purely judge what we've been seeing on screen.

Chi and I got around watching "Ironheart"
The good thing was Shea Couleé as Slug stealing every scene they were in.
Rampage (Eric André) for all the 3 minutes he was on.The bad... well everything else.
Sure there have been some funny moments like the MIT "AI" using clippies brother pencil but everything else especially the "tech speech" (can we please stop lining up terms that make no bloody sense next to each other it doesn't make anyone look smart it makes the writer who came up with it look like a fucking moron) and building a combat suit out of damn car parts... gurl plz 🙄
Don't get me started on the explosives. There at your set is at least one person who knows explosives how about go up to 'em and ask 'em how that stuff works and if a scene makes sense. -

Just binged #Ironheart on Disney+. Why all the hate? It's typical Marvel, nothing new or unique but it was entertaining enough. Loads of reviewers idolising Tony Stark - forgetting he was a mysoginst who liked to joke about prima nocta etc. Just because he's a cute billionaire doesn't make it ok.
Anyway, Ironheart is an easy watch 5/10

Well, that's end of Ironheart. Left wide open for a Season 2. I don't know much about Mephisto, or why Riri would accept the deal...seems kind of uncharacteristic. It was pretty decent though. I'm not as excited for another season as I am about Daredevil, but still. We'll see!

Ironheart S01 (2025)
Choca mucho cómo se introdujo a Riri Williams en Wakanda Forever, para luego eliminar todo lo que se había dicho de ella en los primeros 5 minutos del primer capítulo. Claramente la idea de la serie era "scrapyard Iron-Man from the hood" y chocaba mucho con el concepto de tener amigos wakandos.
La serie en sí tiene algo que me ha gustado y es que son 6 capítulos: nada de alargar el chicle, cuenta su movida y termina. Pero no es nada para tirar cohetes, es la clásica historia de persona con buenas intenciones que por circunstancias se relaciona con gente mala que hemos visto cien veces.

#Ironheart is good but flawed and I enjoyed the show. I thought 6 eps was too short to accomplish everything they wanted to demonstrate, like her heroism.
The physical props of her making the suit look great, but every time the visor opens up to show her face tho the CGI looks weird.

I'm sorry to say I found #Ironheart on #DisneyPlus to be... kind of mid. Mostly an issue with writing, IMHO.
