One thing I'm getting from watching shows like #VictorianFarm, #EdwardianFarm, #TudorMonasteryFarm, and even #IronChef -- is making the most out of all parts of critters. #IndigenousPeoples did that as well. If we're going to eat meat / fish, then we should aim for using as much as we can for food, and make sure the rest doesn't go to waste!

Chef Anne Burrell, known as much for her shock of platinum hair as she was for her culinary skills, has died at 55. No cause of death was available. Burrell's TV debut came on "The Next Iron Chef" in 2005, and she hosted "Worst Cooks in America" for 27 seasons.

Watched a classic #IronChef episode - Battle Tile Fish with Michiba on YouTube. Was a HUGE Iron Chef fan back in the day, was addicted to the show and everything that went with it. Such a fun blast from the past. 🇯🇵🔪🐟

Stumbled upon a bunch of episodes of the original Japanese version of Iron Chef - looks like it might be the English dub made for the USA market. I'm pleased to have some of this show's content available to view and enjoy once again in all its flamboyance. (Note: looks like the season/episode numbering is off, as Morimoto was the 3rd Iron Chef Japan in the series.)

Rewatching some #IronChefJapan. I still deeply appreciate that they don't dub Chairman Kaga. Also the acting and editing of the dub voices are still the most masterful.

Went to #IronChef Morimoto’s flagship restaurant in #Philadelphia for dinner last night. It was absolutely stunningly good.
