Story Pile: Iron Lung
I’d love to try and set the tone for this article by writing something appropriately creepy, but I feel like something written down is explicitly against the spirit of the exercise. Instead I should just make a keening sound and bang on the hull.
Iron Lung takes a game you can speedrun in twenty minutes and expands it into a two hour movie. I’m going to have to talk about both the game and the movie and that’s going to involve some things you may consider spoilers. Further to that, this is a horror movie about a moon covered in an ocean of human blood, following a character who has been welded into a small metal box from which they are told there is probably no escape. It is in fact, entirely as scary and gory and claustrophobic and horrifying as it sounds. There’s your content warning.
