William Butler Yeats was born 159 years ago #OnThisDay in #Dublin, so I decided to record one of my favorite poems: "Sailing to Byzantium."

I first read this #poem decades ago in school with little understanding. Now, it resonates with me, its ideas unfolding with the passage of time as I approach the age when Yeats composed these wonderful lines in 1927.
