If I had one criticism of Irish people, it's that we are a bunch of lazy fucks when it comes to voting. We bitch and moan about elections every single time but when it comes to making a difference in the ballot box, we sit on our arses and rather watch TV.
Countries around the world fight every day for free elections and we fought for 800 years against the tyrannical British but our modern societies can't be bothered to protect our democracy.
