Ich meine, spätestens nachdem ich die Titelmelodie von The Leftovers von Anfang an super fand, hätte ich mir alles von ihr anhören müssen. Immerhin habe ich jetzt viele Platten des Back Catalogs, die ich mich mit Freude durcharbeiten kann. Aktuelle Hörempfehlung ist jedenfalls dieser formal strenge, inhaltlich zornige, musikalisch eingängige Song.

And speaking of old friends, I last saw Iris live as the opener for Greg Brown in I guess 1992, touring her great first album, "Infamous Angel." (They married some years later.) But hadn't seen or listened to her in awhile. Must catch up on her later stuff. Unmistakable voice, unique talent.
