Not so fast says Iridium in letter to FCC regarding Starlink's plans to upgrade its earth based gateways.

In April, SpaceX filed with the FCC to build a next-gen gateway station in Texas, requesting permission to use 19.4 to 19.6 GHz and 29.1 to 29.3 GHz RF bands.

Что делать, если судно в Арктике, связи нет, а за каждый пропуск автоматической передачи позиции грозит штраф? Сегодня разберем кейс компании «ВИДАР». С 2021 года они разрабатывают отечественное спутниковое оборудование для торгового и рыбопромыслового флота. Сейчас оборудование установлено на 200 судах различного тоннажа – от маломерных до ледоколов – и прошло испытания в Баренцевом, Карском, Средиземном, Красном и Японском морях.
