  1. At least we got to that 100 mark, though we're seriously out classed here.

  2. England are looking amateur in Dublin. Come on Ireland, bonus point for half time!

  3. @missmelanieh For some reason I misread that hashtag - #IREvENG - as iRevenge 🙂

I thought maybe it was a drama about backroom politics at Apple

    1. Speaking to my parents (they live in Germany so not always easy. Moving back to the UK soon).

    2. The weather is lovely and autumnal.

    3. Relaxing Sunday planned with #F1 and #IREvENG #cricket

  5. Ireland deserved to win, but conceding those tries near the end was very disappointing. #IREvENG #SixNationsRugby

  6. England is a great place to create team games, not to win championships.

  7. Surprised our final try was allowed to stand, but you know what, I'm happy with a losing BP #IREvENG #6Nations #Rugby

That makes England look way better than they deserve.
I think France would beat both.
Good trolling of England by broadcaster ITV to have Eddie Jones there doing analysis.

  9. That was quite a last 30m turnaround! BP win for Ireland, fantastic. England got their losing BP at the end, but such is life. Onwards! #IREvENG #M6Nations

  10. Absolutely no nonsense. Ireland have dug deep and found their mojo. Several dominant physical interactions and clear unabridged momentum and what was a half-time 5-10 is now 27-10.

We had three quarters of tightly-matched back and forth, but the past 14, 15 minutes is all green.

Loved Dan Sheehan's emphasis on planting the ball down for that try.

  12. Ok, so the fires were smoldering for a lot of the game, but well lit now! Another smashing try! #IREvENG #6Nations

  13. There we have it, it had to happen eventually.

South clearly hits Keenan in midair, Ireland kick the penalty down the touchline and from a ruck in midfield they pounce through. Lowe runs into oodles of space, finds Tadgh Beirne who finishes the move, try Ireland.

  14. We're in the final 20 minutes, momentum swinging back and forth. In general, I feel Ireland has the upper hand in terms of composure and handling, but still not really able to make it matter when it counts. Very tight game, could go either way.

  15. Of all the gray area play from England, I don't think that slight nudge from Itoje is the one that deserves the call, but O"Keefe might simply be letting the team know he's had enough and they need to be on their best behaviour from here on.

  16. I think Bundee Aki is over for the 5. Might be reviewed. Stamps through three white players.

Nope, all good. Score is levelled.

  17. Gah, inability to maintain control in the final execution from Ireland. Frustrating stuff.

Inside the 22 again. Plenty of pressure, again.

  18. #IREvENG really not going the way I would hope right now. Still 30 minutes to play, but there just doesn't seem to be that connection and fluidity to the Irish play. #M6Nations

  19. Strong start for England in this second half, but Ireland pressure them in return and have a scrum on the England five metre line. The crowd is loving it.

France won't be worried watching this game.
    Too many penalties from England.
    Not enough finishing from Ireland.
    Both a bit scrappy.

  21. Half-time summary:

Ireland have the edge on possession, carries, scrums won, lineouts won, metres gained, and have conceded fewer penalties.

And England has double their score.

Rugby is not a numbers game, it's a space game. Find and exploit the space. Ireland had three excellent chances to put tries on the board, one disallowed for foul play, one fizzle, one touchdown.

Should be an interesting second half, especially if England can rein in their infringements.

#IREvENG

  23. There we go! James Lowe finds an inch of space and storms through white hands, breaks into space and finds Gibson-Park. With England a man down, vital to capitalise on the extra man with Smith coming back on in a minute or two.

    Oooohh, conversion is missed.

4 minutes to half time. Tense match so far.
