#BDA on US attacks on the #IranNuclearProgram : A preliminary #DIA report said (with low confidence) that the program was set back by a few month. A few days later, the #DNI and #DCIA both stated unequivocally that the program had been severely damaged or destroyed. I find it interesting that the #DDIA was appointed by #Biden and therefore is presumably a neutral actor, while both the DNI and DCIA are both Trump appointees and so are presumably political hacks.

On the Iran bombing and results.
It’s my understanding that the US military is very good at doing a post strike assessment quickly, at least at a preliminary level. If there was certainty that the bombing campaign was successful we’d know by now. Especially given Trump’s infantile inability to hold anything back.
This multi-day delay in outcome assessment tells me that it by-and-large failed to achieve the damage goal and that they’re trying to determine if there was any consequential damage at all.
Again, if the bombing was successful, we’d know. There would be incontrovertible evidence presented to public. There has been none and there will likely be none to come.
Yet another Trump failure, and on an action that should not have been taken, and that has resulted in another embarrassment of the US military and of the US itself.
