Richard Lehane had me at "I imagined I was a really lazy archivist who had 10 minutes to get his transfer ready".
His Siplicity software has a great graphical interface to quickly go through file structures, filter, select and reorganize files for archiving. This kind of pre-ingest work is a major pain point for archivists dealing with transfers from legacy file servers, Siplicity looks like a great tool for that https://sipli.city #iPRES2025 -

I posted this idea in reaction to a story told on the #ipres2025 "PANEL 7: Preservation.exe: Working with ICT in Digital Preservation": I'd love to see virtual "build a Greaseweazle" workshop that combines a detailed parts list with synchronous group video call to help everyone building along together. Does this already exist? Anyone else interested?
