  11. Another pre-ingest tool : Paul Duchesne's Python script combines Droid data and NARA's Preservation Risk Registry. In short, it will quickly go through your files and identify at-risk file formats amongst them github.com/NFSA/nara-risk-asse #iPRES2025

  12. Richard Lehane had me at "I imagined I was a really lazy archivist who had 10 minutes to get his transfer ready".
    His Siplicity software has a great graphical interface to quickly go through file structures, filter, select and reorganize files for archiving. This kind of pre-ingest work is a major pain point for archivists dealing with transfers from legacy file servers, Siplicity looks like a great tool for that sipli.city #iPRES2025
