Apple stopniowo zmierza w stronę iPhone’a z całkowicie bezramkowym ekranem.
Według Marka Gurmana z Bloomberga, w 2026 roku zadebiutuje jubileuszowy model z zakrzywionym szkłem, ultracienkimi ramkami i ekranem edge-to-edge bez wycięcia.
Wcześniej, w 2025 roku, iPhone 18 Pro ma otrzymać system Face ID pod ekranem i tylko niewielki otwór na przedni aparat. Wprowadzenie zarówno pod-ekranowego Face ID, jak i kamery, planowane jest na 2027 rok. Będzie to pierwszy iPhone z prawdziwie bezramkowym designem.
Apple rozpoczęło tę ewolucję już w 2017 roku, rezygnując z Touch ID i grubych ramek w modelu iPhone X. Obecnie Dynamic Island może być ostatnim etapem przed pełnoekranowym przełomem.

I have over 18,000 photos on my #iPhoneX and rarely look back at them. Yet, I never had a problem with photos taken on my Canon 5 megapixel point and shoot or the film camera my dad used decades ago. They are memories, they are captured, its about remembering the moment, not necessarily the pixel detail. Your eyesight will eventually get bad and you won't care how good that photo looks.

Some of todays photos taken on the #iPhone 16 at the #Apple Store, below. So, did I bite and ended up taking one home? I’m afraid not. I still use an #iPhoneX and will hold it for another year because I feel like even though these phones are optimized and are waiting for #appleintelligence they are gonna obsolete faster as more complex #LLM models are introduced. Also with rolling taking at least a good year, iPhone 17 is looking like the first true Apple Intelligence iPhone.

The #camera on the #iPhone 16 does produce any dramatic improvements over last years iPhone 15 both on the Pro and standard models. I tried finding the Photo Styles feature to test it, but it just didn’t seem to want to show itself or I wasn’t doing something right. Frankly, the iPhone camera has been pretty solid since the #iphonex
