Carcassonne von The Coding Monkeys läuft selbst auf der iPadOS 27 Beta weiterhin problemlos. 🎉

Die App erschien im Juni 2010. Obwohl sie 2020 aus dem Store flog, sichert Version 4.40 bis heute den Zugriff via Kaufhistorie.

In unserer Familie ist es das meistgespielte digitale Spiel überhaupt. Sehr schade, dass dieser Klassiker nicht mehr verkauft wird.

Seems #Apple has mostly fixed all the weird bugs in #iPadOS27 beta 8 with the external display attached. Previously it as issues with the disappearing pointer, display refresh rate, performance issues, etc.

Now it works just fine.

#iOS27 is still running great, though. With that I’ve had virtually zero issues.

Yesterday #Apple has released #iOS27 and #iPadOS27 beta 6. On the #iPad they’ve finally fixed bugged out external display support (pointer was invisible, sometimes no wallpaper, slow, etc.).

They’ve also improved #Safari on iPad. It no longer has issues with selecting input fields and their focus with trackpad/mouse and link boxes are no longer shifter relative to the website render.

Feels buggier than Beta 2. And Writing Tools continues to have no usable UI when proofreading text.

I regret installing iPadOS 27 betas. I can’t revert without a Mac running macOS 27. Or possibly 26, and I’m not installing that monstrosity!

As I ready myself for bed, the day’s activities sift and flow from short-term to long-term memory. It’s in that span, when my subconscious meets the conscious, that I recall that opening apps by URL opens them in whatever position they were opened last, including Slide Over.
