🐟 Daraus ergibt sich nach Ansicht der Forscher am Leibniz-Institut für Ostseeforschung Warnemünde (IOW) die seltene Chance, dass demnächst viel kaltes Salzwasser aus der Nordsee in großen Mengen in die Ostsee strömt – und die Lebensbedingungen vieler Fische etwas verbessert.

Changes ahead in 2026 for the Isle of Wight (IoW) Randonnee, including a move from May to September.
It has been a regular fixture on my calendar for years. I'm hoping it retains the same relaxed spirit. Good luck to the new organisers.

The roads and pavements of the High Street, other thoroughfares, the Esplanade and the beach were said to have become literally smothered with myriads of these #insects.
Holidaymakers were forced to return to their rooms, and those venturing outside were said to have been covered by #ants from head to foot.
