Our first ever IOSS shipment to EU (AUSTRIA), Austrian VAT charged at point of sale and no import VAT to pay for end user.
And all fed in to customs declaration on Royal Mail postage.
@tindie was never that slick.
I have it set up so my staff see a list of orders, one click to print postage and it tells Lectronz the shipment tracking all in one. They then pack, label, and done. Slick fulfilment.

I wondered how this works now.
It seems there is an IOSS number to provide to the courier which presumably stops them asking the recipient for VAT.
I wonder if/how Royal Mail handle that. I’ll have to ask. It would make it a lot easier for EU buyers.

En revanche, cela concerne les commandes de moins de 150€. J'espère que Snagtights n'a pas indiqué que ça dépassait cette somme parce que le total avant leur réduction était > 150€, mais descendait à 123€ après réduction.
On est bien d'accord que c'est le prix final qui compte ? Pas le prix initial ? -

Fedex: Didn't reply to my request, however the "taxes payment pending" note on the shipping tracking page vanished shortly after. So I suppose there won't be an invoice coming in the mail.
UPS: Replied, but doesn't see itself responsible for issuing a refund. But at some point provided two alt. mail addresses for their billing department. No reaction since then.

#bpost ignore les informations #IOSS — pré-paiement de la #TVA hors #europe lors du passage en #douane pour collecter des "frais de dédouanement" de €15.
Même en fournissant une preuve de pré-paiement de la TVA IOSS !
J'ai découvert qu'une plainte auprès l' #ombudsman permet de se faire rembourser du double paiement et des frais indus !
Si ça vous arrive contacter l'ombudsman pour faire cesser cette pratique malhonnête et contraire à l'esprit de l'IOSS
