I am a software engineer running the #iOS26beta. On an unrelated note I am also an Apple Certified Technician. When I looked here I was confused as to if my mobile data was on or off. This UI UX is awful. Will granny make any sense of it? #iOS26 #Apple #Beta #SackTimCook

Just noticed on iOS 26 Beta if I swipe down on the Dynamic Island while music is playing, the music part of it goes away, but if I swipe up on the island it comes back... is this a bug or a feature I wasn't aware of.

Another #iOS26Beta bug, still in #iOS26Beta8: After the device installs the update, the device acts as if the mute switch is on, even when it is not. You need to flip the switch off and back on again and then it's fine until the next update. At least on my iPhone Pro 13 Max.
I imagine Apple staff don't use a device this old anymore, so they likely don't even have mute switches.

The same unknown senders thing in messages is brutal. Same bug where it goes back years, but also, in practise with the previous system, when I receive a spam message, I see it in the list and ignore or delete it. Now spam gets more attention since it has a badge and makes me go to another screen, see it’s spam, then back again. A previously no-action millisecond process now takes multiple actions and multiple seconds.

Seriously, #iOS26Beta is annoying! It keeps resetting my “unknown callers”, back years! These 612 calls are from as far back as 2023.
This OS is just brutally bad.
