#Sonos schraubt mal wieder fleißig an seiner #App und liefert mit dem neuesten #Update einige kleine neue Funktionen. Mit Version 85.0.31 gibt es aber auch eine Einschränkung. Ab sofort benötigt die Sonos-App mindestens #iOS18 oder #iPadOS18, das ja bekanntlich im Herbst 2024 veröffentlicht wurde. Für ältere #Betriebssysteme wird es zukünftig keine App-Updates mehr geben.

Just setup new (data-only) #eSIM from #Airalo for myself & spouse, that should be all set for Japan... I must admit this was much more slick on #iOS26 than on #iOS18. I'm still not upgrading mine - fingers crossed this will be easy with #SailfishOS by next year as all being well I'll have switched to the new #Jolla phone by then 🤞

I finally did the thing and updated to #iOS26 due to the #DarkSword malware and #Apple’s appalling decision to not offer #iOS18 security updates to devices capable of running iOS 26. I’m really salty about it. It makes zero sense (especially for managed corporate devices that may not be ready to update) and is dangerous.
