Little exercise I learned when attending school of comics: using celebs as reference for characters. I decided to apply this to my fave gremlins too. :>
It helps keeping your characters' features consistent, and also... endless resource of angles and expressions.
Obviously you can (and MUST!) change some of their features so they won't look too much like your ref (see Kyo's nose here), but having a structure to return to when you need it is always good :>
