Fantastic to be watching the #IoMTT footage from the last two weeks…it’s very hard to imagine that my dad bike - CBF1000 - is fundamentally the same bike they’ve got there on the course but with a few tweaks. Mad speeds and control there

Packed (in the wet) and ready to start heading home. It's not packed as efficiently as before (is it ever?), but it's more convenient for the broken-up journey home.
There's a chance that we might get to watch the Senior TT before we leave, but that depends on the roads drying out *really* quickly when (if) it stops raining. I'm not holding my breath.

Uneventful trip down to Liverpool and on the ferry with nearly two hours before departure. Hopefully they'll set off early so we can get sorted at the other end.

We've had delays and cancellations this this week for oil spills, crashes on open roads, burst water pipes, non racing medical emergencies on the course and more - not to mention the weather.
As a result, nearly every race is on the schedule for today - let's hope the roads dry out and they can get them run safely.

Blue skies at the moment for today's #ManxGrandPrix race day. Fingers crossed that continues and this road can be turned in to a race track in about an hour

Tuesday of practice week on the island, the busses are already rammed and I've been on the bus for nearly an hour and only made it half way back from Douglas to Peel.
I think I'm gonna cycle the rest of the week, will be much faster... and I can stop somewhere along the way to watch!
