This has been a very productive trip, and also lovely to see people I haven't seen for ages (hi @lenary, among others who don't frequent here!) but after going to a wedding then an intensive project planning meeting, I am looking forward to spending tomorrow saying nothing other than "Americano please". #introverttime

It takes me exactly 8 minutes to ride from our home to one of my fave spots by nearby #ColquitzRiver. I have a few fave spots around this local nature park. It connects with several other local #Saanich parks.
#ColquitzCreek / River is an important #waterway & part of our local #watershed. It's stewarded, by locals.

Been reaching out to different parts of the fediverse, but I might be contracting back into my local instance now.
I feel like a coral reaching out to find new food, but when the waters get a bit chilly, I need to pull in my tentacles, pseudopodia, whatever those things are called and mull over what I have seen.
