I was ignoring the nonsensical plot points in #InTheShadowOfTheMoon and just mindlessly enjoying myself, mostly.
The music, cinematography, and choreography of the van fight scene was too much of an insult, so the final 20 minutes, I will not watch.

Ein Zeitparadoxon realistisch, filmisch darstellen. Viele sind daran (grandios) gescheitert.
Auch hier ist es nicht perfekt gelungen, trotzdem weiß die Story zu überzeugen. Es wird auch nicht zuviel erklärt wie das alles funktioniert. Darum geht es auch nicht.
Verlust, Vergebung, Liebe sind, was hier zählt.
Ein toller Film. Oder?

Just got done #watching #InTheShadowOfTheMoon. Thought it was pretty good, then noticed that the IMDB ratings were a bit lower than I would place it.
Leaving aside the weird nit-pickiness that people have with media these days ("they didn't tell us anything about what happened in the time jumps" or "they wouldn't let him keep the gun"), the complaints seem to fall either on expecting and wanting the movie to have a clear, direct good guy, or being upset that white supremacists were bad guys.
