Got out for another training ride with N this morning, and P came with us too.
Along the river to the Festival Gardens, up round Sefton Park (so. many. cars. just trying to find somewhere to park), then over to Calderstones Park and back through the Dingle via Sefton Park again.
N is getting more confident as he gets more miles under his belt, and there was more traffic for him to deal with this time.

Last night's #JoyRide was a Damien John Kelly House takeover. Our ride took in Toxteth (past the Ringo mural) and the Dingle, then along the river and up through the Eldonian Village to Everton Park.

Had a nice potter round the city helping N get used to riding, as he never learnt as a kid.
We stuck to quiet roads, but could still do about 8 miles or so, over to the Mini Roads, then down to the river and all the way to the Festival Gardens.
Happened to get to the cruise terminal just when a ship was leaving.

Last night's #FolkRidingBikes was a mass collaboration: D had the disco bike with J's playlist; I led the route but A planned it; and P led us on the section through Otterspool Park and Sefton Park, which meant we took the more interesting route through the trees in Otterspool and then through parts of Sefton that I don't think I've ever been to before.

We had one of the Bullitts out as the disco bike for last night's #JoyRide. A glorious summer jaunt round South Liverpool.

Last night's #JoyRide was a two county affair. Jumped the train to Ormskirk and then rode back through the countryside to Liverpool.

Last night was an early summer's eve, the #JoyRide took in Everton (past the water tower) and down to the new Everton FC stadium, and back along the river through the city centre.
Town was full of people giddy from the nice weather.

I led the ride for last night's #JoyRide, a short one so we had plenty of time for my mate Asia to take us forest bathing.
An hour of lightly-guided mindfulness and communing with the trees, water and birds in the Everton Nature Garden.
Rounded off with us drifting back to the fire for a cup of tea and reflection on the evening. Was happy to see the bats out again too, they'd been a highlight of the session we did last year.

As seems to be becoming tradition, the #FolkRidingBikes had a Good Friday ride round the Wirral coast to West Kirby for fish and chips.
It looks nice in the photo but there was an ridiculous headwind all the way. However, that made the night ride back a dream

And while I'm catching up on posting photos, on Friday the #FolkRidingBikes had a trip over the water to the Wirral.
The ferry had just been taken out of service with engine trouble, but the captain generously gave us a lift for free as they limped back to Seacombe.

It was a cold one last night, but I'm glad Vinny still suggested a #FolkRidingBikes ride.
The ride itself was dry, though the ride home after a stop off at the Azvex brewery for a pint and some food was through light snow
