For more than a week now @Internxt experiences technical issues. It has become impossible to properly upload files to its ##cloud through its website. Customer support several times replied that everything works again, but it doesn't. Disappointing. Any suggestions for another #European secure cloud service which respects #privacy ?

Da qualche giorno sto cercando qualcosa con cui sostituire Google Drive.
Mi servono pochi GB di spazio di archiviazione e la possibilità di editare file online.
Qui sotto i risultati delle mie ricerche.
#Proton: mi sono fatto un account, ho caricato un file esportato da Google Drive, sia come .ods che come .xlsx, ma quando cerco di aprirlo da Proton Drive (tramite il suo Proton Sheets) mi dà un messaggio di errore. Ho creato un file Excel (.xlsx) sul mio PC ma anche con lui quando cerco di aprirlo mi dà un messaggio di errore. Ho caricato un file di puro testo ASCI e anche con lui dà errore. L'unico modo che ho trovato per aprire un file su Proton Drive è crearlo direttamente lì dentro. Non è quello che cerco quindi ho cancellato l'utente. Dopo un po' mi è arrivata una mail della loro newsletter, volevo disiscrivermi e lì ho scoperto che per disiscriverti devi avere un account (ti chiede la password per poterti rimuovere dalla newsletter) quindi avendo già cancellato il mio non posso più disiscrivermi. Non mi sembra un comportamento corretto (comunque, ho bloccato il mittente e amen).
#CryptPad (istanza CryptPad.fr). Ho provato a creare un utente per tre giorni di fila, in tutti e tre i giorni prima mi è comparso il messaggio "Hashing della tua password in corso. L'operazione potrebbe richiedere qualche istante" e poi "Si è verificato un errore inaspettato 🙁" (sì, con faccina triste). Non riesco neanche a creare un utente ergo non fa per me.
#Internxt: non mi permette di caricare nessun file (i caricamenti falliscono tutti). Probabilmente per un'impostazione del firewall dietro cui mi trovo. Non va bene.
#Filen: online possono essere editati solo file di testo, non fa per me.
#Infomaniak: per poter fare un account che mi permettesse di accedere a kSuite (il prodotto che contiene poi al suo interno anche kDrive) ho dovuto dargli la mia mail, e vabbè... Poi da kSuite devi abilitare i vari prodotti che ti interessano e per poter abilitare kDrive va dato anche il numero di telefono. Non puoi darne uno falso perché controlla che sia il tuo. Francamente mi sembra troppo dover dare anche il numero di telefono (e poi solo per vedere come funziona...) quindi ho rinunciato e ho deciso di cancellare l'account. E lì mi sono accorto che per cancellare l'account bisogna cercare parecchio nelle varie pagine prima di trovare il pulsante giusto (ma forse sono io che sono un po' tardo su queste cose).
Insomma... si fa un bel dire "cercare alternative a Google" ma alla fine non è così semplice.
Mi sa che mi terrò stretta la mia istanza personale di #Nextcloud per un altro po'...

I have never really been a fan of Crypto, but tried it anyway. I bought a hundred euros worth of BTC a while ago and that has turned into about a thousand euros worth of BTC today.
Today, i tried paying for something with Crypto for the first time. I used #Coinbase to pay for an #internxt ultimate lifetime subscription.
HOWEVER, I started the transaction thinking I could just fill in the amount in EUROS instead of BTC (since the site stated an amount in euros). #Coinbase was glad to send it...

@musicmatze #Hetzner #StorageBox seems much more convenient, with its #borgBackup support and simple ssh access. #Internxt seems to always need that npm thing installed to do anything.

They offer "lifetime" plans for >>TB-sized zero-knowledge-encrypted cloud storage.
Should be good for private stuff.The special remote implementation is wrapped around the official CLI.
It is not without issues (see README), and the API availability could be better. But if you don't like their android/desktop app, this could be means to put that drive to good use.

No tiene sentido 😭 pero es verdad lo que dices, no dan opción a borrarse del email... ¿Podéis explicar esto Internxt? Soy suscriptor de pago y no me parece correcto (ni es legal) esto. Básicamente se fuma la ley de protección de datos. -

Google photos I’ve migrated to self hosted Immich instance. Absolutely love it.All my drive files ive migrated to #Internxt providing cheap, secure. Much better than Google or MS
And I’ve Mint on my desktop and #elementaryOS on #MacBook
Watch YouTube only through #FreeTube app on Linux. Or Invidious instance #yew.tu.be
I have an #/e/os #fairphone. But still on iPhone though 🫣

Ho un buffo problema con @Internxt: ho più dispositivi collegati, ma sembra che la app desktop su Windows non riconosca le credenziali di accesso (strano, perché le inserisco con Bitwarden…), mentre sul Mac l’ho scaricata e ci accedo regolarmente (lì forse ne ho un altro, di problemi, ma devo fare delle prove prima di parlarne). Sembra una di quelle cose folli che poi ti accorgi che è una stupidaggine, ma da ieri che nei ritagli di tempo mi ci arrovello 😂 #Internxt

Sempre riguardo al mio percorso di "europeizzazione" dei servizi. Dopo mail (@Tutanota), almeno quella personale, e pw manager grazie a #Vaultwarden, ora passo al Cloud, per rimuovere il più possibile da iCloud. Che ne pensate di #Internxt Drive?
