Völlig außerhalb der Reihe, denn es ist keine den Alpen sondern im schwedischen Fjäll, die STF Blåhammaren Fjallstation auf 1.086 m bei Åre 🇸🇪 in an der schwedisch-norwegischen Grenze, das ist ungefähr auf der Höhe von Trondheim 🇳🇴 bzw. Sundsvall 🇸🇪.
In der Nähe befindet sich der Gipfel Blåhammarfjället auf 1.164 m.
Die Hütte wurde 1912 gebaut, ist 1923 abgebrannt und wurde danach wieder aufgebaut. Sie gehört dem Svenska Turistföreningen (STF).
Als ich im Juli 2022 dort war, war die Hütte noch bewirtschaftet. Das hat sich zwei Jahre danach geändert, heute ist es eine Selbstversorgerhütte; soweit ich weiß aus Naturschutzgründen, um weniger Leute anzuziehen. Man kann aber einfach Essen kaufen und sich selbst zubereiten, das ist relativ komfortabel in Skandinavien und nicht mit kleinen Selbstversorgerhütten etwa im Tessin vergleichbar.
Ansonsten unterscheidet sich das Ganze relativ wenig von alpinen Hütten. Es gibt überwiegend Mehrbettzimmer und Gemeinschaftsbäder und man bringt seinen eigenen (Hütten-)Schlafsack mit.
Um beim STF die rabattierten Preise zu bekommen reicht übrigens eine Mitgliedschaft im deutschen Jugendherbergswerk (DJH) oder einer anderen Vereinigung in einem anderen Land.
Ich wollte damals den südlichen Kungsleden gehen. Der ist aber nicht zu verwechseln mit dem klassischen Kungsleden im Norden, es ist eine völlig andere Gegend!
Wollte, denn ich hatte mich wohl auf der Zugfahrt dorthin mit Covid angesteckt, ausgebrochen ist das Ganze dann aber erst dort. Das war ziemlich heftig mit Schüttelfrost (zum Glück gab es dort unbegrenz warme Duschen, das hat echt geholfen), ich blieb zwei Tage länger und hab dann den geordneten Rückzug angetreten. Dass es Covid ist wusste ich auch erst später im Tal. Im Endeffekt ging es für mich zurück nach Deutschland, mehr oder weniger so ein „geordneter Rückzug“.
Das Wetter war übrigens grauselig, auch die Vorhersagen, so dass es mir dann etwas weniger weh getan hat, abbrechen zu müssen.
Die zwei Erholungstage haben sie mir dann ein privates Zimmer gegeben und ich konnte immerhin das Geld der anderen Hütten umbuchen.

Some fun memories. In Norway I spent a bunch of time poking around mountains on Kvaløya, practicing my snowcraft, exploring with friends and speaking with the mountains on some solo missions.
I sure miss it. And I'm so grateful I got to go there. Life has been pretty bittersweet in the few years since - however, it's always something I'll remember...

Es geht ums Highlinen, luftige Tiere und spektakuläre Wetterphänomene, um Höhenmedizin, alpine Sanatorien und tierische Lufttransporte.
