Martindale Hall, Mintaro, South Australia.

Martindale Hall was completed in 1880. It is a well known Georgian style mansion and one of the most significant heritage sites in the Clare Valley region of South Australia. It is particularly famous for its unique architecture and for being a primary filming location for the 1975 film Picnic at Hanging Rock.

Sometimes the best photographs are the ones where you strip everything away and just let light do the talking. Simple.

Wayang Kulit Tatu, is a space shaped by ink, light, and time — walls layered with flash, objects left where hands last paused, shadows doing as much work as the lamps above.

I first came across the studio at the Pharaohs Horses Invitational 2025 tattoo show. Seeing the same traditional American tattoo language live here felt intimate and comfortable.

Mendokoro's ramen may be too savory for my taste, but this branch sure serves fantastic interiors that are a treat for the senses. They do make really good gyoza, which is enough reason for me to come back.
