#Lace #knitting - pattern is "Shetland Tea Shawl" - a traditional #shetland shawl, circular, extremely lacy.
I've given it away a long time ago, because while I very much enjoyed knitting it (it went surprisingly quickly) I'm absolutely not the person to wear such shawls.
The most fascinating thing is always the transformation that happens through blocking.

The second handspun yarn I used for knitting. For this shawl, I used a dyed braid in pink, green, purple, white, blue, pink and variants and did a two-ply yarn with a plain green braid. I wanted a pattern that would highlight and group the colour changes. I don't have the pattern as it was on paper, but there are similar ones around. It is modular and stitches are picked up from the completed section below. Hello Mastoknitters! Had to frog (tear out) four rows because I was off one stitch across the pattern. Whoops! Now in forward motion, on slip-stitch section 6...
There are no #IntentionalHoles in this one, but I've got plenty of examples off in a heap!
