This is unrealistic, of course (is it?) - but it seems to me that the solution to the #AI -assisted #cheating in #Academia would be a return to emphasis on oral #examinations and #tests.
This would require smaller students-to-professor ratio and consequently means that a lot more #instructors would have to be employed.

I'm here as a person first, but professionally I manage the User Experience research and design team of a for-profit library database publisher.
We are frequently looking for #Librarians, #Instructors, #Professors, #Teachers and students to interview or conduct usability testing with. Standard practice is to compensate a $100 gift card for a 1 hour Zoom session.
I wasn't sure how people would feel about a recruiting pitch once every 1-3 weeks or so. How do you feel about that idea? I don't want to violate any community norms that I'm unaware of. I appreciate thoughts and welcome criticism.

Hey, I'm an online instructor and I always feel like the last class I have with my students before they graduate/complete their programs is just, jarring. In the physical world I'd probably get everyone a pizza or something, just something to give people a sense of completion and a moment or two to reflect with their classmates before they go off their separate ways.
What can I do online that could be the equivalent of that type of thing?
