Auf #Instgram hat gerade jemand entdeckt, dass Menschen dort nur Infos ihrer #Filterbubble sehen. Dass der Algorithmus aktuelle Aufrufe an Männer nicht Männern darstellt, an die diese eigentlich adressiert waren..

Konsequenterweise muss ich dann auch an #Instgram dran, aber soweit bin ich dann doch auch noch nicht. :/

@lhinderberger @sebmeineck Zahken wenn Journalisten für ein Medium arbeiten und eigene Inhalte entwickeln. Ok. Das tun #facebook und #instgram aber nicht. Dort sind es die User der Plattformen, welche den Inhalt generieren. Und dafür zahlt dann #meta / #zuckerberg noch nicht mal was, sondern greift den Usern in die Tasche.

Easier than expected... Downloaded my #Instgram files and imported them to #Pixelfed #Fediverse 🖼 👨‍💻

I can't help but laugh at these reporters snitching on their own goldfish-sized memories whining about how the #fediverse has "failed." This place has more or less replaced #twitter, #Instgram, and #reddit for me in the span of a few months.

Decades worth of vulture capitalism and a small site run by a team of volunteers is providing a better experience than Zucc could have ever dreamed of... who's the real loser, here?

It's NOT platforms like #Facebook or #Instgram that join the Fediverse ⚠️

Meta is working on a new platform that intends to federate

So it's not everyone on FB or IG that joins but a new crowd probably

We have great moderation tools on Masto and other software that can cut them off within a second if needed

But let's not "block everything by default" but first check..

You won't be happt if your admin starts blocking things without even checking them first

@selectallfromdual @yaku78 e in effetti se non togli tutte le app di Facebook (#whatsapp, Facebook, #instgram) avrai sempre il cordone ombelicale collegato a zuckerberg che saprà sempre chi sono i tuoi amici e i tuoi clienti.
comunque a differenza di whatsapp puoi usare facebook anche senza app, oddio puoi anche usare whatsapp su browser ma se non hai l'app non puoi farci niente, mica scemi.
cmq è vero che a livello professionale devi avere la pagina #Facebook, non ci sono alternative valide.
