Benson “Instant Box Camera”, Optar 135 4.7, Ra-4 reversal

First ra-4 reversal in several years. I’ve reaaaally wanted to shoot these in the instant box cam. Didn’t get the color balance quite 100, but close.

I think the #InstantBoxCam qualifies 3 ways despite being “LF”!:

1. The ur “instant” cam
2. Dead format: (RPPC/plates/ftypes)
3. Crazy hard to use/insane process = 💩🎞️

Best #InstantBoxCam test yet, to go with a new haircut. Shot by my daughter in the evening light. Wide open, f4.5, 1s, rated at 6. Graded (#2) paper makes a pretty big difference in contrast. Ready to try out in the world again this weekend, maybe. #BelieveInFilm #AfghanBoxCamera

Adventures in Instant Box Photography! This weekend I popped out briefly to a local park to see if I could successfully set up the instant box cam in the wild. Mixed results, but got one useable photo of an interested passerby and learned several lessons. #BelieveInFilm #InstantBoxCam
