🔑 Linux is the key to a modern prison cell that is Windows 11 (courtesy of Microslop) 〽️
Great many things (that can be classified as abuse against the user) start to happen leaving "Spydows 11" machine unattended.
Josh Risser of The Infographics Show delivers another to the point info smack.
Windows has fallen in its marketshare quite a bit - yet it would be for the best of all humanity for it to drop much more 'eh.
Et en plus, il n'a même pas tout mis à jour... Après trois (!) redémarrages.
Fini la blague.
I teach my students that persistence is so important when learning computational skills... But in truth I can barely afford to have my laptop out of action for a day.
My work desktop also had to abandon Win10, and I set aside a whole day for that... But to bring it to Win11 *shudder*. That took about an hour. I know I'm not comparing like with like, but ffs..
Anyway, I'm just venting. I might give debian another try on the laptop as that got furthest, yesterday.

Better yet, dump #windoze and learn to #installlinux #Ubuntu is recommended for starting out but you have plenty of options.

So, someone I know, has an older Windows 10 version installed on her 100GB laptop. Now, after 3 years, the SSD is full and 60 GBs of the space is occupied by system files and fuck knows what other bullshit.
The kicker?
There is no way to remove these system files from the SSD.
Just another example of the great design principles and foresight Microsoft has. Fucking idiots! How the fuck?
Anyway, #deletefacebook #deletegoogle #deleteWindows! #installLinux
