We’ll show them that the Fate Gear isn’t a lily-livered, limp-dick jellyfish. Our blood runs as true and red as any buccaneers.”
“I wish she wouldn’t describe our blood as running,” Sorawo said under her breath.
“It’s a saying,” Toriko responded, still smiling at becoming a gunner’s mate.

Days since I installed Debian on a new computer and completed a complex manual partitioning scheme involving stacked md, dmcrypt, and lvm while forgetting to create an EFI system partition, and so having to do the whole thing over from scratch:

I received the 2nd motor, put it on the tester, and whaddaya know? It works. Confirming the first one was a bad motor.
#Installed it and #reassembled the furnace, all was hunkey-dorey. For a few days. This is called #foreshadowing.
Then, as the weather has turned decidedly chilly, I noticed it wasn't putting out #heat. Left it until after work, then went and checked.
A brand-new, unrelated error code. About a bad signal from one of the pressure switches.

These organized, richly resourced actors, she wrote,
