L'enjeu de sortir l'azote et le phosphore du tout-à-l'égout est de taille en #AdourGaronne car les stations les rejettent aujourd'hui en grande quantité dans les cours d'eau. Avec la nouvelle norme européenne sur les rejets qui va entrer en application, les mettre au norme coûterait extrêmement cher. C'est l'occasion ici de faciliter cette transition tout en créant des engrais qui ne dépendent pas d'un approvisionnement en gaz souvent russe ou états-unien.
Mathilde présente notamment le procédé développé à #TBI pour extraire l'azote et le phosphore en struvite et sulfate d'ammonium. Celui-ci peut être appliqué aussi bien à l'urine qu'aux digestats de boues de station d'épuration.
