Happy New Year!
But wait - 2025, we're not quite done with you yet! Let's look back once more on all the fun The Confused Greenies of Players' Patchwork Theatre Company had this most recent trip around the sun!
Though we did not stage as many performances or travel to as many places as the prior year, what we did was majestic including our first commedia dell'arte pastorale historic fantasy style plays and our first fully staged reading, a sudden and unexpected giant whale, and then wrapping up with writing dozens of new three-act scenarios for future productions!
This year was tough in many ways and stressful. But it's always been our goal to make the world better one laugh, one smile at at a time!

2025. It was a good year for The Confused Greenies of Players' Patchwork Theatre Company. Oh the places we brought laughter in 2025! From Zipcon to Cleveland ConCoction, from Pennsic to One World Day, and a first time appearance at Barrington Elementary School!
Where will 2026 take us?

February 2025 in Review
I managed to review 21 works in a month with room for only 20 reviews but my ambitious arc-tracking project was nobbled by changes at Netgalley.

October 2024 in Review
Another month, another (almost) two dozen book reviews. Big month for oligarchy. Hope representative democracy does better in November.

August was a pretty full month, but light on variety. Still, I managed to complete more goals than I missed, and that's pretty much what I like to be able to say at month's end.

July 2024 in Review
Another month, another 23 books read. As promised, I was able to tackle some longer works I put off during dance season. The review that attracted the most attention by far was of Farnham's Freehold, something I will keep in mind.

May 2024 in Review
Inexplicably I was not a finalist for four more awards in May. However, I did discover yesterday was the 10th anniversary of the idea for Because My Tears Are Delicious To You, my tour of books I liked as a teen. Go me.

April 2024 in Review
How is 2024 a third done already?
April saw my usual twenty-plus reviews and twice as many award nominations as March. Clearly, this is a geometric progression I should expect to continue.

Of note this month: James Nicoll Reviews' 2500th review, not to mention representative democracy's very strong showing.

January 2023 in Review
A new year, a new header image, same old stats. I decided not to track genre because it proved too difficult.
