Today I left out some cat food for Lemon's suspected brother, whom I named Tux because of, well, the tux. (I'm not very original ok?) He was out here eating hedgehog kibble for the last few nights so I figured he'd appreciate it. And he did.

Anyway, here he is cleaning out the food dish next to our statue of Crabs (IYKYK) 😁

I put some hedgehog food on the steps and inside the shelter, to hopefully show them it's safe for them in there. They haven't gone inside yet but the big hedgehog is happily munching away on the steps. And practicing his jumps, lol.

I was sitting a few feet away at this time, and must have been visible to them, but they didn't seem to mind :)

This poor little chaffinch flew into my window and needed some time to recuperate. I kept an eye on him and he flew away after a while. He was back at the bird feeder not too long after that so I'm sure he's ok.

Then I went to the store and bought even MORE anti collision stickers because the ones I already put on that window clearly aren't enough 😝

Who can help me identify this critter? It looks kinda like a rat and I know there's a rat problem in this town, but it moves slower and I don't see a tail... It's in the Netherlands by the way, so it's nothing exotic unless it escaped from the zoo. 😁
