@freiburg heute findet am #schauinsland das #einzelbergzeitfahren #schauinslandkönig statt. Es werden viele Starter in verschiedenen Kategorien erwartet: #ottonormal, #tandem, #handbike, #inlineskates, #skiroller, #klapprad, #Kinderanhänger (so aus dem Kopf)
Nach dem #Holbeinpferd gibt es einen Hochbordweg, der als gemeinsamer Fuß- und #Radweg ausgeschildert ist. In zwei Richtungen - spärlich zwar und per Rad nicht sicher erreichbar, aber legal in beide Richtungen nutzbar.
Ob es da - ob der erwarteten Vielzahl an Rädern & Co., so schlau ist, den Wegbzur Hälfte mit einem Schild zuzustellen?? :blob_gnikniht:
...da könnt ja mal wer zuständig drüber nachdenken.

The skates where a great idea! Spend 1,5 hour on them today.
It takes some getting used to, but I picked it back up again quite quick. Still. I need a bit more practice till I'm going full speed feet over feet around the corners and making instant stops again. Luckily, it's calm here 😅.
Also, I had so many pretty pictures of the countryside, the sheeps, the goats, pony's, and more. But I'm only allowed to post 4 at a time 🥹.

Gerade meine #inlineskates gereinigt. Wollt auch gleich die Rollen drehen, da ich Donnerstag jemandem zeigen möchte wie es geht, der noch nie auf Skates stand.
Mängelliste:
Schiene vorne beidseitig verzogen
Kugellager komplett dicht (wunder das die noch rollten)
Alle rollen Viertel weggefahren (also alle drehen)
Spacer alle massiv verdreckt.
Achsen, tja, am linken Schuh war keine mehr fest.
Alle Achsen leicht gebogen. (Neue werden es werden müssen)Sonst sind die Skates aber in Ordnung...

Prototyping some bling for my #InlineSkates with #FreeCAD and #Blender. Printed on my #Anycubic #PhotonMono. Surprised at how well things fit together on the first try, though I'm going to tweak the size and position of things so they don't hang off the back quite so much.

Eigentlich sollte es so laufen: Ich kaufe mir ein Paar Inline-Skates und ziehe los. Schließlich bin ich als Kind ja Schlittschuh gelaufen.
Dann habe ich mich doch für den Anfängerkurs angemeldet. Und was lese ich da? "Achtung, Achtung, Sie brauchen unbedingt eine Schutzausrüstung mit Knie-, Ellenbogen-, Handgelenkschützern. Ach ja, und einen Helm."
Ich: Papperlapapp. Übertriebene deutsche Vorsicht. 1/2

It’s a gloriously sunny day in Vancouver so I had to get out on my blades!

It's so frustrating that all of my axel bolts are stuck on my left boot of my #skates.
From factory it was also crazy tight after doing about 30km skating. I rotate the wheels and #skate another 30 or 40k. Axels frozen.
I sprayed PB Blaster and waited 15 minutes. I tried again and broke the hex wrench!
I sprayed #WD40 now and will leave it over night. I'm turning left on the left boot... Lefty loosy.
Any tip or expansion as to why this happens would be awesome.

My wife's Flying Eagle F4 #skates arrived today along with protection. Soon I'll have someone to hit the streets with. 😄

My longest #skate session without stopping to date on my #InlineSkates. Traveled 8 km with the average speed of 11.6 km/h and max speed 22.1 km/h.
Practiced #PowerStop and fell a few times Infront of people but definitely getting better. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Also, the arch of my feet were killing me so I inserted my #superfeet insoles into my skate. Can't wait to try them out during my next session.

Today was wheel rotation day for my #InlineSkates. The axles were tightened from the factory to the point where I thought I was going to snap the Allen wrench. It was pretty insane.
