I’m still alive, just quiet as I recover from knee replacement surgery at the end of March. Have developed Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS) which is no fun, nor is withdrawal from OxyContin which they had me in for five weeks until the CRPS diagnosis meant a change to neuropathic meds.

Next week the ‘very aggressive physio’ begins, which looks quite brutal - using a computer controlled machine to force knee flexion and break up scar tissue.

Here’s a photo of Nala, now 35kg at 8 months and starting her first season, bless her. She’s looking after me - so much unconditional love, so much caring from someone so young.
