Finished up getting Telegraf installed on all the VMs and getting the Influx Debian repo mirrored locally. All of the config/install stuff is in Ansible and the deployment went pretty smoothly. I now officially have all of the data coming into Influx which is nice.

Wooo, I have made many graphs and they look good. Proxmox is now pushing to Influx as well. I still need to get Grafana behind `nginx`, but I can do that later.

#influx und #grafana hab ich im #homelab wieder deaktiviert. Ich hatte nun mehrere Hosts mit #telegraf ausgestattet, die ihre Konfig direkt aus influx ziehen und System-Stats pushen.
Allerdings lief beim influx lxc immer der Speicher voll. Hab letztens von 2GB auf 3GB und den Swap von 512 auf 2GB erhöht. *Zack* wieder voll. Gerade keine Zeit das weiter zu analysieren. Also erstmal wieder ausschalten... -

Oh man, I just found out Influx is stopping development on their flux query language for influxDB. I really liked its style and I'm disappointed it wasn't more popular to justify its development. I use it heavily in my personal Grafana dashboarding at home. #influx

#Influx aus der Gleichung rauszunehmen, war nicht ganz selbsterklärend, aber dann relativ schlank umsetzbar. Mit Telegraf kann man die interessanten MQTT-Topics in #Iobroker abonnieren und als #Prometheus-Export bereitstellen. Meinen Wetterwert, den ich dediziert von einer freigegebenen Wetterstation der Nachbarschaft ziehe, habe ich gleich mit dazugepackt.
Bleibt das Problem, dass Telegraf die selbe Bude ist wie Influx, aber irgendwas ist ja immer, ne?
